Tools to solve everyday problems and promote independence

At Pictalk, we design solutions to address the challenges faced by individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, their families, and the professionals who support them. Our applications are designed to improve communication, reduce frustrations and behavioral issues, and foster autonomy.

Why Work with Pictalk?

Reducing Crises and Easing Daily Life

The inability to communicate needs or understand upcoming events can lead to significant frustration, anxiety, and, in some cases, crises. The Pictalk applications provide concrete solutions:

Promoting Autonomy with Clear Routines

Mathis, a young adult with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), still relies heavily on his parents for daily tasks. With Agenda AAC, Mathis receives timely notifications and is guided step by step with visuals and a synthesized voice. This helps him carry out tasks independently, such as brushing his teeth.

Supporting work in adapted environments

Mathilde works in a sheltered workshop in green spaces. Thanks to Agenda AAC, she can anticipate the tools she will need and the place of intervention. This reduces her stress and increases her productivity.

Hear from our clients

"The diary allows the person to gain autonomy. We use the same images as on the Pictalk application which is a real support in communication and the expression of speech. Since using it, the person I support has really gained in expression, in self-confidence, people consider them more"

An application tailored to the needs of ESMS

We co-designed Pictalk Buddy, particularly the Agenda part, with professionals from the TechLab of APF France Handicap. We then confronted our first version with caregivers and professionals in the medico-social field during two workshops organized by Digimentally. This development process allows Pictalk Buddy to address the issues faced by individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, as well as the constraints of professionals and caregivers.

Reducing Anxiety and Supporting Autonomy

The Pictalk Buddy application, developed in collaboration with users in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), uses advanced digital technologies to help structure the day. It reduces anxiety by providing visual and temporal cues tailored to the needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities or DYS disorders.
